

Romancing The Stone is a lushly photographed and vigorous satire on all those old action/adventure films. action comedy film about a family of secret agents written by Ian Abrams and directed by Herbert Ross and starring Kathleen Turner and Dennis Quaid. spies turned new parents, are persuaded to take on a case that soon has them juggling dangerous.

Theres a great supporting cast too, and the plot is satisfyingly complicated. Some others in this gifted cast are Mary Ellen Trainor as her sister, Holland Taylor as Turner's editor, Alfonso Arau who is a drug dealer fan of her work, and Manuel Ojeda as the army colonel obsessed with that big green jewel.
